Celebrating the Nurturers

May 8, 2016

Dear Ones,

It has been almost two and a half months since my last blog and newsletter. In the interim I hope you have been keeping in touch through our new group Facebook page “Friends of the Medicine Wheel Teachings of Sun Bear and Marlise Wabun Wind” . I really appreciate Star Savoy who got the page going and is the administrator for it. And I appreciate all of you who have used that forum to share some of your own stories about how these teachings have affected your life. I am also happy that some old friends who are traveling and teaching are using it to let people know about their work. Please join us in participating in this new group! It is giving a preview of what I had hoped to include in the “My Circle” or “Wisdom Circle” part of this website.

This blog is to “Celebrate the Nurturers” and is in honor of Mother’s Day. Along with the celebration are a couple of suggestions from my life experience about how we could change the world in a generation by creating and supporting dedicated nurturers. These people are my idea of super hero/ines.

Personally I have been learning more about patience, and finding healing ways that help. Being a Red Hawk (Aries) person, these are not my favorite lessons! I doubt they are on top of anyone’s list. When I find positive words to do so, I will share some of these lessons in writing. In the meantime, I continue looking for the right agent/publisher for The Spirit Keeper’s Saga: The Center and for The Medicine Wheel Guide. Publishing provides many lessons about patience. On a positive note, the second edition of The Medicine Wheel was just published in Spain and looks wonderful. Thanks to Mudra and Lola and all their associates for their work on this book.

As always I want to thank all of you who take the time to look at my website, read my blogs and encourage your friends to subscribe to this newsletter. Please continue to spread the word, and remember to tell people they have to click on “confirm” in the email they get right after subscribing. I encourage you to share the blogs or refer other people to them but please credit them to me.

I would appreciate it if you would take a minute to LIKE my author page on Facebook, Marlise Wabun Wind, and ask your friends to LIKE it as well. Please join with us in the new public Facebook group.

I wish all the mothers and nurturers a wonderful celebratory day, and many more expressions of thanks throughout the year. The world so needs your important work.
Warmly,
Marlise Wabun Wind
